Refers to any form of communication, through speech or writing, or any type of conduct in which discriminatory or derogatory language is used against persons or entities because of their gender, ethnicity, color, race, nationality, religion, identity or origin or political opinion. Hate speech breeds intolerance, hatred and social fragmentation and may lead to violence. An example of this is targeted individual posts against others expressing hatred against them and claiming that they are not allowed to express their opinions based on their social standing or publications targeting a group that follows a particular religion with the aim of demeaning it.
